Fluffy Dog Rescue was notified of an independent rescuer in Alabama who was overcrowded with dogs. She frequents the local shelter and will "rescue" dogs bringing them to her home looking for homes and rescues to take them. These southern shelters are kill shelters and the dogs do not have much time there. When Fluffy Dog Rescue was contacted, the woman had 30 dogs at her home, Fluffy Dog took 11 of them, mostly poodles and poodle mixes. We were told that Schnapps had lost the hair on his back due to burns from a human. Despite this horrible treatment he was very friendly and full of puppy fun. These pictures were taken the day he arrived to the rescue.
