UPDATES

I think Homer is finally growing.  I looked at him this morning and he looked less like something you would find hiding under a toadstool and more like a real puppy.  He is such a little sweetie, an outstanding personality.  When he gets  hungry, he goes and stands in his kennel and looks at me with those puppy eyes -"hey, mom, can we get some food here?".  I have to feed him in his kennel, he is a dainty and slow eater, savoring every morsel.  As opposed to Reese, who has almost consumed her food before I put the bowl down.  I swear I can see her growing!  She is delighted with life, doing all the things she wasn't capable of before her surgery.  The hardest thing for me is letting her do things on her own.  I keep wanting to help her, but knowing it is best for her if she figures out the situation on her own.  And she always does.
