ANT HUNTERS EXTRAORDINAIRE

We have been invaded by large ants (HUGE, if you ask Homer) and each pup has developed their own way to  eradicate the beasts.  Schnapps does a 2 pawed stomp - he actually puts one paw on top of the other and jumps on them.  Squish - not pretty, but effective.  Reese has a trickier method; she holds them down with her one front paw, patiently waits for them to crawl out from between her toes, and bites them.  Then comes to give me kisses so I know what a mighty hunter she is.  Homer seems to attract the more viscous ants, that take a good deal longer to subdue.  He circles them stealthily, then growls and lip curls in their direction, but they are not easily intimidated.  He then barks loudly (altho a very squeaky bark).  He then pounces on them, not too close tho, and springs back before they can attack.  If he is feeling very brave he bats them, like a cat with a mouse.  Finally, after he has carried on long enough, Schnapps comes along and finishes them off.  And Homer feels very proud of himself for exhausting them to the point Schnapps can handle them.
