Yoki Update

I love this little guy to pieces!    His skin condition improves, then goes backwards for a while.  It has been trial and error, but he is such a good patient.  He is a real character - typical Crested.  Every morning he is fed in his crate, then I open it and start for the back door to join the other dogs.  He will stand and look at me, I will say "Come on, Yoki, let's go".  He might turn and take a few steps the other way.  Look over his shoulder at me, then slowly turn and start in my direction, at the slowest pace possible.
Ahh, maybe I will stop for a drink on my way out, hmmm- how long can I drink?  By this time, Grandma Junie has her hands on her hips, and the "Yoki" is coming out sounding more like a growl than sweet coaxing.
Finally he decides he has again shown me whom exactly is in control, and heads for the door.  EVERY MORNING!!
The thing is, he is not fond of outside.  Too early and the grass is wet, if I don't keep the lawn manicured, the grass is too long for him.  There are no pillows in the yard to lay on.  He has a litany of reasons why inside is better.  We repeat this performance at supper time.  And while the other dogs are running in and out, Yoki only ventures forth twice a day; yet has never had an accident in the house.
Another action shot of Yoki, resting in his favorite spot.
