I had said before, this is one smart little girl. Yesterday she went outside to potty every time! That would be every time! This morning, she woke up wandered over by her puppy pad, kind of mulled around. Instead of jumping right up, I kind of waited to see what would happen. I could see the wheels in the brain turning. I finally said "Potty, Brie?" She perked right up, ran over and gave RJ a bump with her nose ( she doesn't like to go out alone, still not quite sure what might be lurking in the yard). RJ got up and she ran right to the back door and outside to piddle.
Now, does this mean she is housetrained? Absolutely not - but it means she is thinking about it. It means she is recognizing the feeling and beginning to understand the appropriate place to relieve it. Much like a toddler, they need constant reminders and encouragement when they do the right thing. But I am so impressed with the speed in which she is putting this all together. Puppies and times vary, but this, too me, is very quick!! Good job, Baby Brie.
