TROY BOY HAS BEEN ADOPTED

My darling Troy will be going to his forever home on Friday.  I am so happy that he has a chosen a wonderful family that will love him to pieces, as I have done.
But, I have still have Davey and the M&M's.  It has been so long since I have had puppies that young, that I had forgotten what a delight they can be.  And a tremendous amount of time and effort.  Well worth it, of course, but a puppy is a big commitment.  They are like 2 yr olds; tremendously engrossed in something for 2 minutes flat, then on to the next.  Then sleep, repower their little energy cells and away we go.  Marissa, whom I call Sissy, is teeny, tiny, fragile looking and the all time instigator.  She is as delicate as a Sherman tank.  Altho her brother, Marko, is bigger, she plows into him and knocks him over like he was a dandelion puff.  Then dashes away at warp speed.  Her favorite target is RJ, my 45 pound blind Beagle.  He just seems to have so many interesting parts she can play with.  Last night he was sleeping with his head hanging off the couch.  Sissy is jumping up lightly nipping him on the nose.  Then she discovers those big floppy lips, which she gets her head under and puts it in his mouth.  He has the patience of a saint and a true angel dog, he just makes little noises like "Would you please stop doing that?", but doesn't move.  She finds those long silky ears, to which she attaches herself and swings.  Too much, RJ slowly gets up, groans, stretches and heads for his hideout on the bed.  Marko is more laid back and I think will be a real cuddle bug when he stops trying to keep up with his sister.
