DAVEY LEARNS A NEW TRICK

I told you about our potty ritual, out the back door,  potty, then in and sit for a treat.  Richmond, my 10 yr old puppy mill survivor, figured out a way to work the system.  You go out, potty, get your treat, then 5 minutes later attack the back door as if you are not let out immediately you will pee on the floor.  I get up, open the door, Richmond runs to the top of the steps, then back in and sits for his treat.  If I holler at him, he will go down the steps, then turn and come back.  And sit for his treat.  I am a sucker, so he usually gets another one ( or two, or three).  Davey has watched this with interest.  Now I have 2 of them playing the same game.  Richmond is Davey's new best friend!
