OK, folks, Davey is still waiting for his special someone. This is one sweet little man who deserves
lots of love and attention. There isn't anything I can fault this dog on; he has a wonderful disposition and manners. He obviously had a family at one time that adored him; and to be dumped in a shelter at this point in his life, makes my heart ache. He sleeps in my arms every night, because I want him to know he is still loved and valued; and that life is still good, and that there is someone out there that will be his special person him for the rest of his life.
He is such a funny little bug - every morning, like the older gentleman he is - he takes his constitutional around the yard. Just a leisurely little jog around the whole thing. Only once and only in the morning. And his bark! The first time I heard it, I turned around looking to see who it was. It is a deep throaty bark, more like one would expect from a Rottie. He rarely barks, and it always startles me, coming from that tiny little body.
