Rooney is such a smart guy. This morning I gave him and empty Kong I found under the couch, and he has been playing with it for an hour now. There is nothing in it - but he created his own game. You grab one of the dog blankets, wrap the Kong in it, then run around frantically as if you are looking for it. You then suddenly attack the blanket, and unwrap it from its hiding place. When that is no longer challenging enough, you add another blanket to the mix. Then go from blanket to blanket, acting like you have no idea which one it is in. He suddenly, triumphantly, finds it and runs around tossing it in the air, until it is time to hide it again.
He is a wonderful dog, such a pleasant personality and so full of joy.
